About Me

Hi, I’m Kate! I’m 10-years-old and live in Stillwater Oklahoma. I love the outdoors and have too many hobbies! Some of my favorite things to do include baking, fishing, sewing, running, and biking.

A few of my favorite crafts are displayed below, and some are for sale!

I hope you like my shop and that you’ll enjoy my creations!

Handmade Heirloom dolls

I started with my imagination, weaving together narratives and personalities that became the characters of these vintage dolls. They are lovingly made from cotton and alpaca silk wool.

Elowyn

Elowyn is from Ireland and her name in Celtic means “beautiful like the elm”. She is the tomboy of her family and is not afraid to get her hands dirty. Even though her mother tries her best to tame her she is always climbing trees, exploring cliffs, watching sunsets and gardening.  On any given day, Elowyn might be found running through fields with her Irish Setter puppy, Timber.

Elowyn is handmade out of cotton fabric, machine sewn and hand-stitched together. Alpaca silk wool was used to crochet her shawl, and a ceramic vintage design blue and white bead clasps it shut. Her curly red hair is made from wool from Great Britain. Her skirt is removable for optional dress changes.

Sequoyah

Sequoyah was born in Indian Territory and her name in Cherokee means “sparrow”. She loves being free and is usually found riding her horse, Skylark, or practicing with her bow and arrows. Sequoyah enjoys weaving baskets out of the tall plains grass, and makes clay pots from the red dirt she gathers from nearby rivers.

Sequoyah is hand-made with fabric, leather, and red jasper stone beads, machine sewn and hand-stitched. She has a removable skirt for wardrobe changes and moveable arms fastened with wooden buttons.

Betsy

Elizabeth is from California.  Her mom insists on calling her Elizabeth, but to her friends she is Betsy. Betsy loves sketching and painting the beautiful California landscapes around her.  Her favorite outdoor adventure is hiking in the mountains.  She has two sisters that she “mostly” gets along with. Her older and sometimes bossy sister is Margaret. Anna is her younger sister, shy and sweet. Betsy has two cuddly kittens, named Heather and Asparagus.

Betsy is handmade out of cotton fabric, machine sewn and hand-stitched together. She has an alpaca silk shawl that was hand-crocheted and is clasped with a freshwater pearl as a brooch. Her arms are moveable and sewn on with wooden buttons. Her fabric hair is in a braid crown and bun. Her skirt is removable for optional dress changes.
